About

Chef Stacy is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, educator and consultant with more than 30 years of professional culinary and hospitality experience. Outside the kitchen, she is the very proud mom of two young men, Christian and Noelton, and the devoted wife to her college-sweetheart, Criss.  She lives, plays and works in Northern Ohio in the beautiful Lake Erie shores and islands region. 

Passion & Purpose

Chef Stacy's passion is all things food! With a love so broad and diverse, she is always ready to learn, taste and experience something new and the extensive work experience she has amassed through the years reflects this.

Over her career in food service and hospitality, she has experienced every position of the restaurant from the dish pit to the dining room; from the host stand to the hot line; from menu engineering and marketing to recruiting and onboarding. She has been responsible for operations as large as 75 employees and as few as 3.  She has worked with fine dining restaurants, coffee shops, fast casual joints, outdoor grilles and even a non-profit, pay-it-forward bistro. She has been the server, the dining room director, the Executive Chef, a Vice President and Owner.  She has seen a lot! She is excited to share her experience, knowledge, and skills with you through, Chef Stacy Maple Culinary Services.  She offers both private and commercial services such as Culinary Training & Demonstrations, Restaurant Consulting, Private Cheffing & Intimate Catering, ServSafe Instruction & Proctoring, Recipe & Menu Development, Nutrition Coaching & Meal Planning, Food Writing & Food Styling, and Event Planning. 

 

As it often does, Passion helped her find what she believes is her Purpose: To use her experiences, skills and knowledge to better both the hospitality and culinary industries, and the lives of the people living and working in them. She's passionate about social concerns and food initiatives such as Food Justice, Sustainable Food Systems, and Workforce Development, and is active in the following organizations:
